Which herb cools the blood and is especially useful for treating bleeding in the upper body, such as vomiting blood and coughing up blood. It also reduces swellings and treats jaundice.
Da Ji is especially useful for upper-body bleeding. Di Yu, Huai Mi, and Ai Ye are more for lower body bleeding, such as hemorrhoids, blood in the stool, or uterine bleeding.
